Welcome to Desert Stars
A choir that feels joyful, not intimidating.
Desert Stars is a vibrant community music programme for children in Dubai. It was created to give young singers a relaxed but purposeful place to enjoy music, develop their voices and feel the excitement of being part of something together.
This is not about expecting every note to be perfect. It is about making progress, listening to one another, finding courage, learning musical discipline and growing in confidence naturally through singing and performance.
No previous choir experience is needed. Enthusiasm and a love of music are enough.
Weekly choir
75 minutes to sing, move and create.
What does a session feel like?
We warm up, learn and layer songs, work on harmonies, add movement and performance, and give children opportunities to step forward without pressure.
The repertoire is contemporary and engaging: pop, musical theatre, uplifting classics, creative mashups and songs that children are genuinely excited to sing.

Find your voice
Children develop pitch, rhythm, breathing, listening and musical confidence by actually making music together.
Be part of a team
Choir builds connection. Every child contributes to the sound and learns to listen, support and collaborate.
Take the stage
Performance gives children something exciting to work towards and a chance to discover just how brave they can be.
Performances
Rehearse it.
Feel it.
Perform it.
Desert Stars chapters are built around the thrill of sharing music. Children work towards informal showcases and performance opportunities where families can see how much confidence has grown along the way.
Solos and featured moments are encouraged when children are ready, but nobody has to be a soloist to shine. The heart of Desert Stars is the sound we create together.
